Entertainment, Media, and Sports Management Concentration - MBAJ

Note: As a foundational course for the concentration in Entertainment, Media and Sports, students must select one of the following courses to be completed in the first trimester of the MBAJ Program: DESC 656 , FINC 655 , ISTM 654  or MKTG 658 .

Concentration Courses

Elective course availability will vary per term and year based on instructor availability, enrollment, and program needs. Although elective courses are not guaranteed to be scheduled on a regular cycle, students will be provided a choice of relevant options from the program’s elective list during course registration. 

Students must complete at least 12-units of approved Entertainment, Media, and Sports Management courses, including the following five required electives:

To fulfill the global business requirement of the program, students can complete ISTM 621 Digital Media and Entertainment (2) , PGBS 693 Global Business Intensive (1-4)  (2 units required), or PGBS 694 G3: Going Global with Graziadio - Global Business Development Practicum (0-2)  (2 units required). The selected topic for Global Business Intensive or Going Global with Graziadio course must be relevant to the concentration, otherwise, approval is needed by the program office prior to registering for the course to confirm it can be applied towards the concentration.
