MKTG 628 Consumer Behavior II: Consumers in the Marketplace (2)


This course focuses on the sociocultural forces in the market that shape consumers’ behavior, from social norms, social media and celebrities, to the dynamics of social class and culture. Drawing from various disciplines from sociology and media studies to cultural anthropology, you will gain a 360-degree perspective on the social and cultural dynamics that shape consumer trends in the real and digital marketplace such as the diffusion of fashion, technology and other innovations. Prerequisite(s): Part-Time: MKTG 603 The Art and Science of Marketing (4)
