This course is an exploration of the environment and objectives of government and not-for-profit organizations, how they differ from business, and how and why the environment and objectives affect the reporting and interpretation of accounting information. Prerequisite(s): Full-Time– ACCT 591 Financial Accounting (2) or ACCT 620 Accounting (3). Fully Employed–ACCT 652 Accounting Information and Control Systems (4).
