The MS in Business Analytics program is completed in three consecutive trimesters and consists of 43 units. The degree is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in business analytics. Students enrolled in the Graziadio School’s MBA programs are not eligible to apply.
Students who complete the MSBA degree can apply and waive up to 20 units from the full-time core courses. This will allow MSBA graduates to obtain an MBA degree by taking an additional 24-30 units of MBA core courses and a minimum of 16 units of additional MBA elective courses.

MSBA program learning goals and outcomes state the educational expectations of student achievement for each degree program. These goals are defined by faculty members to clarify how they intend for graduates to be competent and effective as a result of successfully completing the program.
Please note: Effective January 1, 2020, the program name was changed from MS in Applied Analytics to MS in Business Analytics. The curriculum and all degree requirements remain the same.
