Master of Science in Global Business

The MS in Global Business (MSGB) program may be completed in four trimesters with a minimum of 49 units. The program offers a diverse range of global learning experiences, viewed through a SEER (Socially, Environmentally, and Ethically Responsible) learning lens, that are designed to enhance the global mindset level of MSGB graduates and prepare them for productive and enriching work in their chosen global business careers. The first two trimesters of the program involve full-time coursework on campus, combined with experiential learning opportunities through which students engage global businesses in the U.S. or abroad. The remaining two trimesters include a globally focused internship trimester, and a fourth trimester of courses abroad or in Malibu. Students admitted in the Spring term will complete the required, zero unit internship in the 4th term of the program.

All MSGB students will complete a globally focused internship trimester in the United States or abroad, which, for international students, may include their home country. Students work with Career and Professional Development Coaches and faculty Internship Advisors to search for, select, and complete their internships.

Students in the program with U.S. citizenship or who are U.S. permanent residents are required to study abroad for one trimester or complete a full-time internship trimester outside the United States. Non-citizens are also encouraged to apply to the one-trimester study abroad program on an optional basis. The trimester abroad experience will entail enrollment in full-time coursework at one of Pepperdine’s partner universities.

Students may apply for admission to the MSGB program with undergraduate business or non-business degrees. Qualifications for admission include strong undergraduate academic performance, English language proficiency, proven analytical skills in undergraduate courses, and a range of life, education and work experiences that are consistent with a global business mindset. Students enrolled in the Graziadio School MBA programs are not eligible to apply.
