DESC 475 Production and Operations Management (4) This course provides an evolving survey of effective operations management concepts and techniques in manufacturing and service industries. Analytical techniques used to evaluate opportunities based on cost, quality, time, and flexibility include forecasting, capacity analysis, inventory control, statistical process control, aggregate planning, scheduling, and project management.
