DESC 601 Excel and Quant Review (1)

The Excel and Quant Review course has been designed as a boot camp course to prepare students in math and statistics concepts as a fundamental skills course for MS in Real Estate Investment and Finance students. Using a mix of lectures, case studies, and practical laboratory experiences with Excel, the review seeks to refine the student’s technical skills and increase understanding of how information extracted from legitimate data sets can be used to make better managerial decisions. Topics include basic descriptive statistics, simple algebra, graphic analysis of data, applied numerical analysis, and spreadsheet models.
