ACCT 603 Accounting for Multinational Enterprises (2)
This course covers the financial reporting practices of non-U.S. firms in comparison with firms of the United States. Managerial and cost control practices also are compared for firms from these geographical regions. Students learn to consolidate the results of foreign operations into the reports of domestic corporations, including the effects of foreign currency translation. Prerequisite(s): Full-Time-ACCT 591 Financial Accounting (2) or equivalent. Fully Employed- ACCT 652 Accounting Information and Control Systems (4).
